Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Over spring break I spent half of my time in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a friend from college! I've always loved visiting and checking out new places. While our time was limited here, my friend and I managed to hit a few fun spots that I wanted to share with you! Whether you're looking for new food/coffee, or a quick stop to check out, here are some of my favorite places we stopped by!

Great American Popcorn

This is a fun place to take a break from all your festivities and grab a quick snack. From endless options of popcorn, to soda, to ice cream, this sweet spot has something perfect for everyone!

Found + Formed: Vintage Boutique

This vintage and handmade store, Found and Formed, is located in the cutest Czech Village. I snagged the dreamiest mustard kimono!! They offer one-of-a-kind pieces that you will fall in LOVE with. This little shop is the definition of local with passionate and genuine owners. I will most definitely be coming back for more!

COFFEE SHOPS

You KNOW I am always bound to check out one, if not two coffee shops while traveling.

Brewhemia

This popular shop is the perfect place for brunch or coffee. I HIGHLY recommend the avocado toast with egg on top!

DASH Coffee Roasters

DASH is a smaller environment, perfect for studying or catching up with a friend. They have your go-to coffee, or if you're feeling like something new, how about the Unicorn Hot Chocolate?!

Cedar Rapids Public Library

The library you say?? After a pretty bad flood hit Cedar Rapids a few years ago, the library was a building that got a fresh look. This bright and spacious place makes you want to spend hours here. Sadly with it still being winter, the rooftop was closed off. Be sure to check out this place in the spring or summer to get the rooftop garden experience!
